Our Story

I am Lillie, the founder of Mama Nourish. I am a wife, mother, and former Army helicopter pilot. My route to motherhood wasn’t straightforward; I’ve been through the rollercoaster of IVF and the heartbreak of miscarriage, but now have a gorgeous little 7 year old boy called Teddy.

I founded Mama Nourish in 2020, with the intention of creating something really special for Mums, that would make a meaningful difference to their experience of new motherhood. I knew from my own experience how hard it can be to look after yourself, especially in the ‘fourth trimester’ with a new baby, and also for a good few years after that. Your needs somehow fall to the bottom of the list every time, despite encouragement to invest in your own “self care”.

Life with a young family is busy and demanding and we could all use a bit of practical help. Knowing how much of a difference good nutrition makes, to building resilience and keeping up with life’s demands, we developed Mama’s Overnight Oats around the specific vitamins and minerals that are particularly important while recovering from pregnancy and childbirth and during breastfeeding.
